In afternoon Mr. Massey Annie

Catherine and I went to Glenorchy.

Met Miss M. Walker on train. Had

afternoon tea at Mrs. Butters.

Feb. 16, 1913

Mr. Bremner and Mr. Massey to

dinner. Went to S.S.* in afternoon.

The men stayer for afternoon tea.

                                     * Sunday School - February 16, 1913 was Sunday.

Feb. 12, 1913

Mr. Massey and I went to New Norfolk

S.S. Marana. A beautiful day and the

river very smooth. The scenery was grand.

Reached New Norfolk in time for diner.

Went to hotel. Right after dinner went

by trake to Salmon Pools. A delightful drive

of six miles. Got back to boat at three

and to Hobart between six and seven.

Tired but had a delightful day.

Feb. 11, 1913

Jim, Annie, Mr. Massey, Mrs. Butters,

Miss Theil, Mr. Murray and I went 

to see "On Our Selection" It was very

funny and we had a good laugh

over it all. Not feeling very well so

was glad to get home and to bed.

Feb. 10, 1913

Annie, Jim, Ben and I invited to

a party at Mrs. Tom Murdochs. Did

not enjoy it so left early.

Jan. 28, 1913

Jim got home from West Coast in

time for dinner. Invited Mr. Mc

Kiristry, Mr. Moore and Mr. Massey

for supper. Feeling rotten all day. Did

not even talk. Mr. Moore amused

us very much by telling us about Professor

MacAuley. Supper was good and we

had a very pleasant evening.

Note: Mr. Moore is probably George Brettingham-Moore, and Professor MacAuley is actually Professor  Alexander MacAulay  However, this Wikipedia article mentions nothing about his connections to the history of Hydro power in Tasmania.
