Reached Boston at nine oclock
A.M. Two hours late. It was a
lovely fine morning but we were
so glad to get on land again.
Went out to Roxbury. Victoria
was at work but the house was
open. Shortly after I got there
Miss Virginia Maxwell a cousin
of Uncle Maxwells came in. We
talked all evening.
(Note: This must have been Uncle William Maxwell who was married to Aunt Harriet Roy, sister of Georgie's mother, Jane Roy. Georgie must have been staying with Roy relatives, not MacGillivrays or Frasers.)
