August 24, 1912

The boat sailed at twelve P.M.
but I knew nothing about it until
the steward came to see what I
wanted for my breakfast. It was a
beautiful fine morning but the
wind was blowing and the Bay of
Fundy was so rough that no one

could get out on deck. All day the
wind blew and the waves washed
over the decks all day.  Several of
the main deck cabins were flooded
and some of the crew seasick. I
stayed in bed all day but was
not seasick.  Enjoyed all my
meals.

(Note: Check out Bay of Fundy here: Bay of Fundy - highest tidal range in the world!)
