OK, just for clarification. Georgie states on Oct. 29th that they have crossed "the line." That line is the Equator, not the International Date Line, which happens to be in the Pacific. The map now reflects the approximate position of the equator.
One hundred years ago, Georgie G. MacGillivray traveled to Tasmania with her sister, brother-in-law, and their two children. She would be nanny to the family while James William Fraser served as engineer to a hydro-electric plant project. I will post entries coinciding with their 100 year anniversary.
