September 18, 1912

Mrs. Hirst, Ben, Fankie, Catherine
Miss Hirst and I went to see
Madame Tussaud's wax works.
They certainly were very fine and
we enjoyed the day so much.
We were folled by one of the guards
standing perfectly still and Ben
Hirst looked up his guide book to see
who he was when he smiled
we felt cheap.  Ethel and Frankie
went into the Chamber of Horrors.
The rest of us went to see the
Nelson and Waterloo room
instead.
