What's in a name...?
As the journal cover confirms, our heroine was known as Georgie. The author of HISTORY AND STORIES OF SPRINGVILLE, PICTOU COUNTY, NOVA SCOTIA also calls her Georgie. Oh, but the geneaology records are way more complicated. Georgia, Georgiana; McGillivray, MacGillivray; Fraser, Frazier. Piecing together her biography will be no easy task!
