One hundred years ago, Georgie G. MacGillivray traveled to Tasmania with her sister, brother-in-law, and their two children. She would be nanny to the family while James William Fraser served as engineer to a hydro-electric plant project. I will post entries coinciding with their 100 year anniversary. Journal entries will begin August 3, 2012. Prior to that I will post background information on Georgie, James, other family members, and related topics.

Stranded in Time.....
Poor Georgie! She is stranded in time! Two months now. It is all her brother-in-law's fault, just because I don't want to unravel the politics surrounding the Hydroelectric Plant in Tasmania. However, my relatives will never truly appreciate the story if I don't. So I must get back to it. Meanwhile, I have learned of another Fraser, possible relative living in Tampa, with whom I am about to share the family tree. I wonder if this might be another connection?? Several siblings, two generations back, and they literally live from shore to shore!
